Challenge
Bed & Bars Hostels were needing to relocate their bathroom pods that were supplied by Taplanes from their Cardiff site to another that would end up in London.
Bed & Bars UK Maintenance and Facilities Manager was glad to have found out that this is something that we can offer instead of having to order the same products again and leave the existing pods behind.
Scope
Knowing that Taplanes were able to offer a service of relocating pods, Bed & Bars wanted to move 28 pods and needed to be completed in a tight window. From Wednesday 25th May to Friday 27th May, our transportation department completed three trips from Cardiff to London resulting in a total of 750-miles to successfully complete the 28-pod relocation.
Our mini-pods only take 40-minutes to dismantle and re-assemble, this results in manpower hours that can be used elsewhere meaning that your teams are efficient by freeing up their time to complete other important jobs, money is also saved with not depending on external contractors to carry out such work.
Result
By offering this service to our clients, Bed & Bars along with many others know if they are planning on changing location but still want the same security of not having a shower or ensuite that leaks, gives them the peace of mind that they can be relocated anywhere in any location. This means that our customers get the best value for money when ordering while knowing that they have a great sustainable impact to our planet than other bathroom pod solutions.
