Carfax Quarter

Challenge

Our clients on our Carfax Quarter project acquired two new buildings from a developer for their student accommodation needs, with this project and new build, traditional made bathrooms were utilised during building process.

After 3-years of acquiring these two buildings for their student accommodation needs our client needed to refurbish their bathrooms due to experiencing leakages from the shower trays that were installed.

Our experienced design team were able to design a shower cubicle to fit their needs in the traditional build bathroom. With our products being quick to assemble, our shower cubicles were able to be installed quickly by the maintenance team and ready for use for when students came back.

Scope

Supplying 50 shower cubicles to our Carfax Quarter project, which completely transformed how they now look and feel about bathroom pods and how they will use them in the future. It will give the maintenance teams more time focusing their efforts where it is more needed than finding and investigating where leaks may be appearing in bathrooms with our pods being self-contained and watertight.

Result

With the solution that Taplanes were able to offer and create for the Carfax Quarter project, Taplanes were able to solve the issue for the client before it got more costly affecting more of the building than it already did and costing them more money if the problem was left with no real solution. Our solution has resulted in the client preferring Taplanes and using our products for future projects.
